Senior Developer (Java, React, AWS)

Overview

Senior Software Developer collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver software solutions. Leverages Java, React, and AWS skills to build and improve large-scale systems and advocate engineering best practices.

What you'll do

• Write clean, reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
• Advocate continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software early.
• Build distributed systems using microservices.
• Collaborate to develop features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes with UX specifications.
• Use DevSecOps tools and practices, and practice “shifting security left.”
• Oversee or participate in end-to-end software consulting and delivery from ideation to deployment.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Java, React, and AWS.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Comfort with Agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, and/or Kanban).
• Awareness of TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches/tools.
• Comfort advocating for technical excellence and influencing others.
