Senior Director, Software Engineering - Cyber Resilience

Overview

The Senior Director, Software Engineering will lead the strategy and execution of Kaseya’s data, API, AI, and customer data platform capabilities. The role focuses on building scalable platforms that support insights, automation, personalization, and cross-product workflows.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate the long-term data, API, and AI strategy, vision, and roadmap.
• Build and scale data, API, and AI capabilities.
• Guide platform ecosystem design, architecture, and execution.
• Set engineering practices and improve team processes.
• Align product, engineering, go-to-market, and trust teams.
• Drive platform modernization to reduce technical debt.
• Execute commercial and technical KPIs across a large portfolio.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, API, runtime, identity, platform engineering, or related fields.
• Deep expertise designing and building distributed data systems and applied AI.
• Experience leading high-performing global engineering teams.
• Experience building cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of high availability, fault tolerance, and cost-efficient platform design.
• Strong strategic, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related major, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Prior experience at Senior Director level.
