Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer role in Bangalore providing product and technical service support, handling customer inquiries and resolving technical problems related to installation, modification, upgrade, maintenance and repair of company products or equipment.

What you'll do

• Support and provide service via calls, emails and tickets
• Work on provided offline activities
• Follow given SOPs and flag unresolved issues and escalations to L2
• Diagnose and analyze technical problems
• Analyse different systems and energy data to find potential for energy optimization
• Work on projects that require data mining, analysis and presentation
• Identify relevant trends, deviations and call drivers, perform follow-up analysis and prepare visualizations
• Provide training to L1 Engineers
• Execute bulk schedule and set point changes
• Follow up on and meet commitments to customers
• Implement controls programming changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-based deviations
• Appreciate asset information datasets and modelling
• Perform root cause analysis and track issues to closure
• Understand changes in the controls setup and initiate or recommend changes to stakeholders
• Propose new energy savings strategies and initiatives
• Perform additional ad hoc activities to support business goals
• Guide team members

What you'll need

• University degree (B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) with theoretical to advanced knowledge
• Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
• A minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
• Ability to diagnose and analyze technical problems
• Flair for root cause analysis and tracking issues to closure
• Good behavioral attitude
