Senior Engineer, CAD Verification

Overview

Support and improve EDA tools and verification flows for hardware design verification. Work with Design, Layout, and DV teams to improve productivity, automation reliability, and verification performance.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy configurable, scalable tools for hardware verification.
• Support EDA tools and verification flows across multiple projects.
• Gather and analyze metrics for automation reliability and verification performance.
• Debug vendor tool issues.
• Work with DV teams to solve verification problems.
• Implement functionality to address emerging problems and optimize existing methods.
• Use and evaluate AI-assisted tools to improve work efficiency and quality.

What you'll need

• Working knowledge of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with assertions.
• Strong experience with Incisive/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or ModelSim.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Perl.
• Experience with coverage management using Vmanager.
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for role-related tasks.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Tcl.
• Experience with UVM, VMM, OVM, C, or C++.
• Familiarity with Verdi and/or SimVision.
• Experience with front-end web development and UI.
