Overview
Senior Engineer - Marine Structures responsible for structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and delivery of marine infrastructure project designs in Bengaluru.
What you'll do
- Ensure marine structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance.
- Perform high-level technical quality work to program and budget.
- Attend client meetings as a marine structural expert and coordinate project requirements.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to deliver design work on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other discipline engineers and supervise project staff.
- Review and peer review design packages, drawings, calculations, specifications, and submittals.
- Support project execution from concept through commissioning with adherence to timelines and quality standards.
What you'll need
- University degree in Marine/Structural/Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of related marine engineering work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in planning and design of marine structures such as quaywalls, sheet pile, diaphragm walls, jetties, marinas, and scour protection.
- In-depth knowledge of port, marine, and coastal engineering design standards and guidelines.
- Knowledge of marine structural design software including Geo5 and Staad Pro.
- Professional level MS Office Suite skills and 3D modeling proficiency using AutoCAD.
