Senior Engineer Software

Overview

Architect, develop, and validate MCAL device drivers for embedded solutions. Drive quality through static analysis, unit testing, test automation, and regression strategies.

What you'll do

• Develop architecture, design, and code for MCAL device drivers.
• Perform static checks, including cyclomatic complexity, MISRA evaluation, and Polyspace warnings analysis.
• Perform unit tests.
• Develop test strategies, test specifications, and test scripts in C.
• Automate and perform test executions and regression activities.
• Institutionalize test methods and related templates to enable the use of tools and test equipment wherever required or possible.

What you'll need

• Embedded system software development or verification in C and assembly language as per a defined software development lifecycle.
• Basic algorithms and data structures in C, operating systems, and device driver fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of at least one 32-bit microcontroller architecture.
• Knowledge of multi-core architectures, MMU, MPU, caches, DMA, and interrupts.
• Acquaintance with development tools such as Enterprise Architect and at least one C compiler tool chain.
• Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS and Lauterbach.
• Proven ability to work with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power benches, and protocol analyzers.
• Good team player with excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-site work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, and ISO26262.
