Senior Engineer, Structural Modeling, TECHNOLOGY - AMAIS

Overview

Work as a Senior Engineer in Micron Technology's Advanced Modeling and AI Solutions Group in Hyderabad, developing predictive structure models and computational modeling tools that support memory development and manufacturing programs across multiple DRAM and NAND nodes.

What you'll do

• Execute activities and needs independently.
• Work on materials, structure, or process modeling projects supporting critical programs.
• Develop models and report results to the AMAIS team.
• Collaborate with the AMAIS team on next steps.
• Code, implement, and utilize numerical models.
• Interact with process engineers and development teams to identify questions and issues hindering node development milestones.
• Create software programs, algorithms, and computational modeling tools to extract concrete insights from modeling and data.
• Interpret and convey insights and findings from models and experiments to engineering teams and leaders.
• Develop predictive structure modeling across multiple DRAM and NAND nodes.
• Collaborate with product design and process teams on structure model development and deployment.
• Provide solutions to be implemented on Silicon.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of modeling experience.
• Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced skills in level set method (LSM) for CAD, meshing, DOE, analysis, and rendering.
• Experience in computational geometry, virtual structure modeling, numerical methods, and scientific computing.
• Experience in some of these tools: Abaqus, ANSYS, Victory Process, SPX, SEM3D.
• Strong background in Industrial Design, CAD, Production and Engineering Design.
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications.
• Familiarity with FEA tools and thermo-mechanical modeling.
• Experience with reports and presentations customized for users and leaders.
• Outstanding teamwork and experience with remote collaboration tools.
• Strong debug and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing reports and conference papers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for engineering workflow and modeling.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with semiconductor process integration.
