Senior Engineer - Verification CAD

Overview

Support and improve EDA tools and verification flows in a production environment. Partner with Design, Layout, and Design Verification teams to improve productivity and solve tool and workflow problems.

What you'll do

• Develop and support scalable tools for hardware verification across projects.
• Evaluate and improve in-house and commercial EDA tools and flows.
• Debug vendor tool issues.
• Analyze metrics to improve automation reliability and verification performance.
• Collaborate with Design Verification teams to solve technical problems.
• Implement functionality that addresses emerging problems and optimizes existing methods.

What you'll need

• Working knowledge of Verilog or SystemVerilog and assertions.
• Strong programming abilities in Python or Perl.
• Extensive experience with Incisive/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or ModelSim.
• Experience with coverage management using VManager.
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, problem-solving, and operational tasks.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TCL.
• Experience with UVM, VMM, OVM, C, or C++.
• Familiarity with Verdi or SimVision.
• Experience with front-end web development and UI.
