Senior Enterprise Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

Overview

Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and governing enterprise ServiceNow solutions, workflows, integrations, and automation.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications, data models, UI components, scripts, automations, and configurations.
• Lead technical implementations across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, APM, CSM, and HRSD modules.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and event-driven integrations.
• Perform code reviews, platform performance tuning, and development-standard enforcement.
• Mentor junior and mid-level ServiceNow developers.
• Troubleshoot production and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Maintain technical documentation and align solutions with security, architecture, and governance standards.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
• Expert proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Portal development, and ServiceNow data models.
• Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and platform design.
• Experience building integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration frameworks.
• Understanding of CMDB structure, relationship modeling, discovery, and service mapping.
• Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and ITIL Foundation certifications are required or strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture processes, ServiceNow APM, and platform governance models.
• Exposure to complex enterprise integrations, custom portals, CMDB implementations, or workflow automation.
