Senior ETL Developer/Analyst

Overview

Senior ETL Developer/Analyst role supporting MUFG's DEBI platform teams, responsible for managing and supporting enterprise integration platforms, ETL processes, job scheduling, system monitoring, incident resolution, automation, and continuous operational improvement.

What you'll do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL integrations and data exchange processes.
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation across connected systems.
• Support integration interfaces between IAM platforms, HR systems, directories, applications, and security tools.
• Optimize ETL performance and reliability.
• Monitor production systems, integration jobs, and service health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Respond to alerts, failures, and service interruptions within defined SLAs.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Prepare operational reports and service performance metrics.
• Develop automation scripts for operational tasks, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Eliminate manual activities through process automation and workflow optimization.
• Enhance operational efficiency and platform stability through proactive improvements.
• Participate in platform upgrades, maintenance activities, and disaster recovery testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and support procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
• Ensure IT governance, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.

What you'll need

• Strong experience (3+ years) working in large scale teams and supporting production applications.
• ETL Tools: Informatica.
• Data governance: IDQ, AXON, EDC.
• Database: Oracle, SQL Server.
• Batch job scheduler such as Control M or any other similar scheduling tool.
• PowerShell, PL/SQL, SQL Server stored procedures.
• Experience in application development, database development and system support.
• Good understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good data analysis and SQL.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure (for example, hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks) and IT applications and service processes used within a Financial Services organization.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Any experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) integration services and operational support.
• Batch job scheduler: Control M (preferred).
• Cloud: Snowflake (good to have).
• Experience with Java and Python (advantageous).

• Work in shifts based on rota.
