Senior Field Service Engineer

Overview

Senior Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and provide onsite technical support for advanced battery systems.

What you'll do

• Maintain and grow customer relationships through professional communication and support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues for battery systems remotely and on-site.
• Serve as the onsite technical expert to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Develop subject matter expertise and act as primary technical resource for complex issues.
• Provide onsite technical support and training on system operation and safety.
• Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports.
• Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions.

What you'll need

• 8-10 years industry experience required (Utility, Wind, Solar, or Thermal energy equipment supplier).
• 5+ years managing customer relationships.
• Demonstrated experience leading safety efforts in an operational setting.
• Proficiency using MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Linux.
• Ability to read construction drawings including network and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, IEEE).

Details

• Location: Texas (ATS listed USA-TX-Remote).
• Travel up to 20% of the time, occasionally on short notice.
