Senior Financial Systems Administrator

Overview

Senior Financial Systems Administrator for Vercel’s Finance Transformation team, owning the day-to-day finance tech stack and building automation to streamline finance support and workflows.

What you'll do

• Own production support end-to-end for finance systems by resolving tickets for finance stakeholders.
• Administer and troubleshoot finance systems including NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, and Navan.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Serval, configuring and tuning it to automate ticket handling.
• Design and build AI agents and internal tools to automate Finance Transformation workflows.
• Redesign finance and cross-company request intake and tracking to improve process flow.
• Maintain finance systems controls such as role-based access, segregation of duties, and change management.
• Support month-end close systems activities and coordinate with IT/Security when issues span integrations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration and support.
• Deep hands-on experience administering NetSuite.
• Ability to triage a shared ticket queue while managing multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience using AI tooling to automate practical workflows.
• Understanding of finance business processes including procure-to-pay (P2P) and record-to-report (R2R).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system issues end-to-end and communicate clearly.
• Availability to work standard hours of 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. IST to support PST stakeholders.

Nice to have

• NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or SuiteCloud Developer) and SuiteScript/workflow customization experience.
• Experience operating private companies using public-company standards.
• Familiarity with integrations and data flows between finance systems.
• Ability to read and write basic SQL queries.

• In-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday if within commuting distance of SF, NY, London, or Berlin; otherwise fully remote.
