Senior Lead Engineer – NSP/NPU System Software

Overview

Senior Lead Engineer for Qualcomm’s Neural Signal Processor (NSP) System software team in Bangalore, working on system software for CPU/NSP and hardware accelerators in Qualcomm SoCs.

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and develop software frameworks across processors in Qualcomm SoCs.
• Develop high-performance system drivers for compute resources.
• Identify performance optimization areas across software and hardware architectures.
• Integrate, test, and commercially support embedded software solutions.
• Deploy platform software for Multimedia and Deep Learning use cases on Qualcomm SoCs.
• Work on system software development for heterogeneous computing on device.

What you'll need

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• 4+ years writing scalable C/C++ multi-threaded, multi-process software for Android/Embedded Linux/QNX.
• Experience in system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing.
• Deep understanding of CPU, DSP, and Deep Learning Accelerators (NSP/NPU) architectures and hardware acceleration with C/C++/assembly/OpenCL/CUDA.
• Experience with ARM and NSP/Hardware engines, including inter-processor communications using RPCs.
• Familiarity with build systems like CMake, Make, ninja, and Yocto.
