Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Agentic AI)

Overview

Senior Machine Learning Engineer for Zscaler’s Exposure Management & Security Operations team, focused on building and deploying agentic AI and ML solutions.

What you'll do

• Independently develop and implement machine learning models and Generative AI solutions with an emphasis on agentic AI architectures.
• Drive end-to-end productionization of AI agents in live environments, including multi-step reasoning and LLM orchestration.
• Design and implement LLM Ops frameworks with observability, monitoring, logging, and evaluation for dynamic AI agents.
• Refine and optimize GenAI pipelines and classical ML models using feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of related experience as an MLE.
• Hands-on experience creating GenAI-based systems including LLMs and RAG, plus operationalizing agentic AI in production.
• Deep understanding of MLOps and LLMOps principles for monitoring, observability, and debugging of non-deterministic AI agents.
• Computer science foundation (data structures, algorithms) and expertise in Python (scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as a team player.
