Senior Manager of Success Architects

Overview

Lead a distributed Asia Pacific team of Customer Success Architects and Customer Success Managers, helping customers adopt GitLab, achieve measurable outcomes, and build trusted partnerships. This people leadership role covers talent development, customer relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and escalations.

What you'll do

• Lead teams focused on customer adoption, account health, satisfaction, and advocacy.
• Drive delivery of Success package entitlements, usage, and consumption.
• Coach team members through feedback, development, and career conversations.
• Manage resource assignments, staffing levels, and hiring activity.
• Develop senior customer relationships and support trusted-advisor partnerships.
• Coordinate cross-functional responses to customer escalations.
• Improve team processes, tools, and objective-linked initiatives.

What you'll need

• Experience leading customer-facing delivery teams in software, technology, consulting, sales, or customer success.
• Ability to guide teams across onboarding, adoption, business reviews, and renewals.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and agile or DevOps methods.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, SAST, DAST, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across regions, cultures, and business lines.
• Strength in communication, coaching, delegation, planning, and process improvement.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and team events.
