Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - Majors, PacNW

Overview

Senior Manager, Sales Engineering (Majors West) leading and growing a sales engineering organization for the core portfolio, including Gen AI, across the US Pacific Northwest region.

What you'll do

• Recruit, mentor, and develop the sales engineering team.
• Refine and scale sales engineering processes (discovery, technical qualification, proof-of-concept).
• Partner with sales leadership and clients to design and present business solutions that drive revenue growth.
• Operate in a matrixed environment to promote and support the Zscaler portfolio through value-based selling.
• Align with GTM Sales Leaders, Product Management, and Engineering to execute strategic solutions and close deals.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, including integrating new technologies to enhance workflows.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience with a track record in sales or systems engineering, including managing a sales engineering team.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, and developing talent.
• Technical expertise in cybersecurity and networking.
• Proven ability to communicate value-based selling in a matrixed GTM environment.
