Senior Manager - SnowFlake Architect

Overview

Lead enterprise Snowflake architecture and cloud data-platform modernization, providing technical direction for data engineering, integrations, security, governance, and delivery.

What you'll do

• Define Snowflake architecture, data models, standards, and best practices.
• Lead migration and modernization from legacy and on-premises platforms to Snowflake and cloud environments.
• Design scalable ingestion, integration, transformation, data-sharing, warehouse, lake, and platform solutions.
• Establish data security, access controls, encryption, governance, compliance, quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle standards.
• Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership for Workday, HR/payroll, enterprise application, API, and cloud integrations.
• Mentor teams and provide technical guidance, code reviews, design reviews, and architectural oversight.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 12–15+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, and cloud data platforms.
• 6–8+ years of hands-on Snowflake solution design experience.
• Expertise in data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Matillion, AWS or Azure, Python, PL/SQL, CI/CD, GitHub, and DevOps.
• Experience with enterprise security and governance frameworks using Immuta.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Workday, Globalview, and ADP, including data mapping and transformation.

Nice to have

• Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Advanced Architect or equivalent.
