Overview
Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead development, delivery, and operational excellence of Digital Health Services (DHS) platform and cloud services.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach engineering teams across software engineers, engineering managers, architects, and technical leads.
- Own end-to-end engineering delivery for one or more DHS services and translate strategy into execution roadmaps.
- Drive engineering planning, release management, and roadmap execution on a quarterly/annual basis.
- Deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS and improve operations using observability, automation, and reliability engineering.
- Provide technical leadership across distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data platforms.
- Ensure compliance, security, quality, and regulatory requirements are embedded through the development lifecycle.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years leading engineering teams.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS (or similar cloud platforms).
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong DevOps, CI/CD, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / observability knowledge.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale SaaS or platform services.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare systems.
