Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical concepts and architectures, manage requirements and Mechanical BOMs, and lead prototyping, verification, and cross-functional delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop concept and architecture designs from customer and internal requirements.
• Manage mechanical requirements at customer and system levels.
• Define and manage Mechanical BOMs (unique/standard/broughtout/in-house).
• Create prototype designs and collaborate with purchasing/suppliers for part development.
• Conduct Mechanical DFMEA, mitigate risks, and report findings.
• Prepare verification plans, run mechanical verification tests, and ensure compliance.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or CAD/CAM.
• Automobile experience in new product design and development.
• Hands-on experience in plastic design and development.
• Experience with die-cast and sheet metal components/assemblies.
• Knowledge of DFMEA to identify risk and take systematic actions.
