Senior Modernization Engineer (FDE)

Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (Senior Modernization Engineer - FDE), you collaborate directly with customers to scope, prototype, and deploy AI solutions in real-world environments with accountability for outcomes.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers to translate business challenges into high-quality technical solutions.
• Build and iterate custom AI solutions using agentic AI frameworks.
• Own delivery end to end from scoping through production deployment.
• Troubleshoot and enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Capture deployment learnings and document best practices for platform enhancements.
• Contribute feedback and code to help evolve AI platforms.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Python (or other modern languages such as C#, Node.js, or TypeScript).
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch (plus).
• Familiarity with open-source AI tools and libraries, including Hugging Face.
• Experience designing/building/integrating multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge systems.
• Knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle, Git/GitHub, and data tools like Pandas and Spark.
