Senior Platform Architect

Overview

Senior Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise infrastructure platforms.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of highly available, scalable, secure infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud.
• Partner with engineering, network, security, cloud, database, middleware, product, and program teams to develop supporting infrastructure solutions.
• Drive delivery from business engagement through architecture reviews, approvals, procurement, implementation, operational readiness, and production deployment.
• Design resilient networking, application delivery, and security architectures using load balancing, web application firewalls, API gateways, and distributed platforms.
• Lead modernization initiatives covering automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, platform standardization, performance optimization, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Develop architecture standards and roadmaps and mentor engineering teams.
• Ensure platforms meet security, compliance, availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and performance requirements.

What you'll need

• Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture across data center, hybrid cloud, and distributed computing.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking, application delivery, and infrastructure security, including Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with VMware and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), plus load balancing, web application firewalls, API gateways, and distributed infrastructure.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and configuration management using Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Ability to architect and deliver resilient, secure infrastructure while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence technical and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Expertise in infrastructure performance engineering, including capacity planning, scalability testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience creating technical architecture documentation and executive presentations using Microsoft Visio.
• Experience supporting mission-critical financial services platforms with stringent availability, security, resiliency, and regulatory compliance requirements.
