Senior Principal Engineer

Overview

Senior Principal Engineer / Technical Lead / Architect for TechGrove’s AI Engineering Pod, owning end-to-end architecture for production modernized applications.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end software architecture for the pod’s applications.
• Define frontend architecture including state management, reusable components, and design-system integration.
• Set technical direction as the highest authority and escalation point.
• Operate as a player/coach with significant code contributions and rigorous reviews (including AI-generated work).
• Define how agentic tooling (e.g., Claude Code) is used across the SDLC.
• Define and enforce quality and security standards, including clean code, DDD, and application security.
• Mentor and raise the technical capability of the team, human and agentic.

What you'll need

• 10+ years in software engineering, including Principal/Staff/Architect roles leading architecture of complex production systems.
• Production experience on both AWS and Azure, designing and running production software.
• Hands-on depth with containers (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless (Lambda/Azure Functions), and Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven, and distributed systems, plus DDD and design patterns.
• Current ability to code and lead design with thorough reviews.
• Fluency with AI-assisted/agentic tooling (Claude Code or similar) for AI-native delivery.
• Hands-on production experience with at least two of: .NET Core, Python, TypeScript, Java; plus frontend expertise in React.js and Next.js.
