Senior Principal Engineer - Electrical for project and proposal engineering leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable execution within contractual scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

What you'll do

• Lead discipline engineering for proposals and projects and deliver within contractual framework.
• Develop and implement engineering practices, workflows, procedures, and resulting specifications.
• Review work activities, monitor workflow, and make recommendations to SME and project management teams.
• Control key parameters (KPIs, benchmarks, efficiency figures) used for estimating equipment, materials, and man-hours.
• Ensure compliance with discipline and job manuals during project execution.
• Ensure completion of WBS elements within allotted man-hours and schedule dates.
• Manage technical procurement activities and review/approve vendor documents for the discipline.

What you'll need

• 18+ years of experience in EPC or detail design engineering for execution of projects.
• Experience across sectors including Oil & Gas, Air Separation, Energy, Refining, and Petrochemicals.
• Education in MTech/ME or BTech/BE in Electrical Engineering.
• Tool experience including E-TAP, System Study, and 3D Model.
• Strong knowledge of single line diagrams and ability to independently develop SCD and control schematics.
• Knowledge of major electrical items including MV/LV motors, transformers, diesel generators, and VFDs.
• Ability in cable sizing, earthing calculations, and lighting calculations using Dialux software.
