What you'll do

• Define the multi-year technology vision.
• Translate global energy challenges into actionable, enterprise-wide research programs.
• Oversee maturation of breakthrough technologies from lab-scale to industrial deployment alignment.
• Act as technical authority for high-stakes grid innovations.
• Mobilize global networks (government bodies, industry consortia, strategic partners) to shape external technology landscapes.
• Represent the company in high-level technical forums and set agenda for industry-wide standards.
• Mentor Engineers and help foster technical leadership and accountability.

What you'll need

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) with 20+ years of industry-recognized experience or equivalent.
• Ability to define and deliver 5–10 year technology roadmaps tied to organization-critical objectives.
• Mastery in designing enterprise-scale power system architectures (operations, controls, protection, and grid dynamics).
• Ability to scale lab-scale developments (hardware-in-the-loop, PSCAD, Matlab/Simulink) to field implementation.
• Proven record of leading large research programs and writing successful R&D proposals.
• Experience taking concepts to product introduction.
