Senior Product Designer - Design System

Overview

Senior Product Designer for a Design System, responsible for building and maintaining scalable UI foundations across multiple products, teams, and platforms.

What you'll do

• Own component libraries, interaction models, and cross-platform design consistency.
• Maintain high standards for reusable UI elements (layout, typography, color, spacing, visual hierarchy).
• Design and maintain scalable component architecture (e.g., buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables).
• Define interaction behaviors and state transitions for components (hover, focus, disabled, loading, mobile behaviors).
• Structure and maintain design tokens to ensure consistency between design tools and code.
• Collaborate with engineering across Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS/native environments.
• Create documentation and governance guidelines for component usage.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience building and maintaining production-ready design systems.
• Deep understanding of cross-platform constraints and guidelines (Web, iOS, Android).
• Familiarity with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories.
• Advanced Figma skills including libraries, auto-layout, components, variants, variables, and publication.
• Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG), contrast requirements, and inclusive design principles.
• Technical literacy with component-driven frameworks (React, Flutter) and Atomic Design methodology.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to translate design system choices into clear technical guidelines.
