Job description

Overview

Own AI products for Sensata's commercial organization, starting with Sales and Revenue Operations and extending to Pricing, Marketing and Commercial Finance, shaping what gets built, prioritizing it, and measuring its value through to daily adoption.

What you'll do

  • Drive the development of actionable product roadmaps by integrating inputs from cross-functional stakeholders in line with business objectives and product strategy.
  • Manage product positioning in the marketplace, including rationalizing pricing strategy based on market conditions.
  • Develop product strategy and optimize the product portfolio, providing planning and project prioritization.
  • Contribute to the pricing strategy through the product life cycle.
  • Drive the development and execution of the product roadmap for improvement.
  • Provide support for operational issues associated with quality, delivery and production.
  • Anticipate and communicate issues, recommend corrective action, take independent remedial actions and report outcomes.
  • Own AI products for commercial use cases, such as lead triage and routing, opportunity scoring, account insights, next-best-offer, quote guidance, pipeline and bookings forecasting, and competitor and peer performance intelligence.
  • Map current workflows with sellers, account managers, pricing, marketing and commercial finance teams, and identify pain points, root causes and where AI can improve decisions or remove manual work.
  • Translate pain points into product requirements: map AI features against each pain point, write user stories, and define the first version's scope, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
  • Own the product backlog and roadmap, prioritize features and make clear trade-offs with AI engineers, data scientists and the AI Architect.
  • Test solutions with users, run pilots, gather feedback and iterate until the product is adopted in daily work.
  • Run intake, triage and prioritization for commercial AI use cases, and recommend scale, pivot or stop decisions.
  • Build business cases with business owners and Finance (baseline, target value, cost).
  • After go-live, track realized value such as revenue growth, win rate, price and margin, pipeline conversion and seller productivity.
  • Ensure every product has a named business owner, success metrics and an adoption plan before build starts.
  • Work with AI Governance, AI Enablement, IT and vendors (e.g., Salesforce) so products clear governance gates and fit into CRM, CPQ and ERP systems.
  • Own business requirements in vendor and build/buy evaluations.
  • Report product status, value and key decisions to AI leadership and business leaders.

What you'll need

  • A university degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years in product management, digital/AI product, sales operations, revenue operations or commercial roles, including 3+ years owning data, analytics or AI products.
  • Hands-on commercial background, ideally in sales operations, revenue operations, pricing, key account management or commercial finance.
  • Strong product discovery skills: workflow and process mapping, user research and pain-point analysis, turned into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Track record of defining a first version and taking products from idea to production with measured adoption and business value.
  • Working knowledge of CRM (e.g., Salesforce), CPQ/pricing tools, ERP and commercial data such as pipeline, bookings, pricing and margin.
  • Enough technical depth in GenAI, ML, forecasting and agents to challenge engineers and vendors on scope, feasibility and cost.
  • Experience building business cases and tracking realized value with Finance.
  • Experience with Agile product delivery and backlog tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Able to influence senior business leaders with evidence and make clear prioritization calls.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity, and holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B manufacturing, automotive or industrial environments.
  • Product certification (e.g., CSPO) or Salesforce certification.
