Overview
Lead the developer experience for the AlphaSense Agent API, owning the path from first visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end developer journey, defining and improving every step from first visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
- Drive the developer portal, reference documentation, quickstarts, tutorials, code samples, changelogs, and the SDKs and client libraries that let developers self-serve.
- Align the API with the standards and conventions teams already use to consume LLMs and agents, so integrating AlphaSense is close to a drop-in change.
- Give developers structured responses, verbose logs, tracing, and clear errors so they can see what the agent did and fix issues without guesswork.
- Find and remove onboarding friction across credentials, authentication, and testing so a new developer reaches a working call quickly.
- Ground the roadmap in developer analytics, support signals, and direct conversations with engineers who build on the API.
- Partner with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Education to keep the experience coherent as the API grows.
What you'll need
- Experience owning public APIs, SDKs, or developer portals.
- Understanding of a developer's workflow from the inside.
- Technically hands-on: able to read API documentation, authenticate, and make a call yourself.
- Fluency in the modern AI developer ecosystem, including how engineering teams integrate LLMs today and the conventions expected around SDKs, errors, and tooling.
- Ability to act as a strong thought partner for engineering and drive complex technical topics to a decision.
- Experience operating in a fast-scaling enterprise environment.
Nice to have
- Experience building for developers who integrate a product into experiences for their own end users, rather than tools developers use for themselves.
