Senior Project Lead Engineer

Overview

Senior Project Lead Engineer providing technical leadership for engineering activities across medium-complexity projects in the Electrification discipline for Process Industries.

What you'll do

• Lead technical execution of engineering disciplines within project assignments.
• Ensure engineering activities are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Provide technical support for commissioning and start-up activities.
• Apply design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
• Specialize in advanced engineering concepts and methods.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate teams of 5–25 across engineering disciplines (in-house and outsourced).
• Collaborate on installation, commissioning, and site activities to address engineering issues.

What you'll need

• 18–20 years of relevant experience in project engineering (including with consulting/EPC-LSTK/Mill Builder engineering departments).
• Electrical Engineering expertise for process plants, covering electrical systems from 220 kV to 110 V AC and 220/110 V DC.
• First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in electrical engineering for specific plant types and systems (e.g., Cement Clinkerization Plants, Grinding Units, WHRS, CPPs, and more).
• Advanced expertise in designing outdoor switchyards, indoor substations, electrical rooms, and specifications of HV/MV/LV switchgear and related systems.
• System and layout engineering experience across substation equipment assignment layouts, earthing, cable layouts, lightning protection, and illumination.
