Senior Project Management Business Partner - S/4 HANA PM Specialist

Overview

Senior Project Management Business Partner (S/4HANA PM Specialist) embedded in the ERP Transformation Programme and the Digital PM Office (BCXX) as a founding member of the Airbus PM Office in India, providing execution-focused project management support across complex initiatives.

What you'll do

• Provide expert project management support across complex initiatives to secure baseline execution, including daily project schedule structures, resource loading and cost monitoring in accordance with Airbus PM standards (e.g., MP.PP.01/02).
• Maintain Top-Down / Bottom-Up planning synchronization within single-source-of-truth systems.
• Track milestone maturity, quality gates and deliverables against time, cost, quality and performance targets.
• Define, develop and maintain integrated PM dashboards and project status reports for internal stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics to perform data sanity checks, monitor planning adherence and proactively flag potential project delays.
• Secure Planisware data integrity as the Single Source of Truth.
• Facilitate project routines, steering meetings, risk reviews and decision-making workshops.
• Execute Risk and Opportunity management processes (ARM), log mitigation action plans and maintain project registers.
• Support the capture of lessons learned and process improvement feedback loops.
• Identify repetitive PM tasks for automation and utilize AI tools to summarize alignment meetings, draft executive status updates and track action items.
• Coordinate project work packages, cross-functional contributors and local subcontractor task units as an individual contributor.

What you'll need

• Degree level in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or an equivalent field.
• 3 to 5+ years of applied project management experience across traditional Waterfall and Agile environments.
• 3+ years of direct experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud / Clean Core principles, including SAP BTP, SAP Activate Methodology and extensibility frameworks.
• Experience with legacy SAP ERP (ECC 6.0) data migration, business process re-engineering and harmonizing multi-instance landscapes.
• Proven experience with enterprise scheduling tools for baseline control, resource planning and schedule tracking.
• Proficiency in analyzing operational data using advanced platforms and dedicated dashboarding tools.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with fluent English.
• Fluent / negotiation level English (mandatory).
• Competencies: PM Processes, Methods and Tools (Advanced); PM Operations (Advanced); Project Management Fundamentals (Advanced); Integrative Project Planning (Advanced); Risk and Opportunity Management Execution (Advanced); Stakeholder Management (Advanced).
• Soft skills: high adaptability, structured thinking, proactive problem-solving, active listening and strong workshop facilitation.
