Senior Sales Engineer - Majors, Florida

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer for the South Majors team, based in Florida and reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager for the Americas Field Sales team. Serves as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, aligning Zscaler solutions with customer goals and technical requirements.

What you'll do

• Architect technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points.
• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers, promoting the value proposition of Zscaler products.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Run Proof of Value from start to finish, as the technical and industry expert.
• Oversee the technical sales process.
• Collaborate and support internal Zscaler teams.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator.
• Knowledge of network security technologies.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications including CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts.
• Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs.

Details

• Location: Florida, USA (remote).
• Base pay range: $154,875 to $221,250 USD, excluding commission, bonus, equity and benefits.
