Overview
The Senior Salesforce Administrator serves as the declarative technical backbone of the team, bridging out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities and full-stack custom code. The role balances feature development with high-priority support delivery and involves hands-on, end-to-end project ownership and direct customer collaboration.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews with enterprise stakeholders.
- Define clear boundaries and steer stakeholders toward declarative best practices.
- Build highly scalable data models.
- Build robust security architectures.
- Build advanced enterprise-grade Flow frameworks for complex orchestration while preventing governor limit issues.
- Architect and tune AI systems like Scout to build intelligent automations that reduce end-to-end case delivery times.
- Perform code-level Apex diagnostics.
- Manage order of execution to prevent race conditions.
- Map custom code within Flows.
- Remediate technical debt and reduce developer overhead.
- Evaluate business needs and push back against bad architectural requests.
- Defend Salesforce best practices.
- Estimate effort accurately and manage complex workloads while meeting strict timelines.
What you'll need
- Deep mastery of complex automation.
- Deep mastery of Flow design patterns.
- Deep mastery of AI system configuration.
- Deep mastery of Apex diagnostics.
- Proven ability to actively monitor AI telemetry and optimize accuracy.
- Strong consulting experience.
- Strong conceptual grasp of enterprise data modeling.
- Strong conceptual grasp of complex sharing architecture.
- Strong conceptual grasp of permission set governance.
- Understanding of execution order to bridge declarative configuration with full-stack custom code and prevent race conditions.
- High autonomy in estimating effort accurately and managing complex workloads.
- Ability to successfully manage 2-3 high-effort and 4-5 medium-effort projects simultaneously while meeting strict timelines.
