Senior Scrum Master

Overview

Senior Scrum Master to lead and coach Agile and SAFe teams on the Customer & Campaign Readiness Product Team, enabling high-performing teams and predictable delivery of business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Team Demos.
• Coach teams on Agile and SAFe principles, practices, and behaviors to improve team maturity, effectiveness, and delivery predictability.
• Support SAFe events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization alignment, and successful execution of product objectives.
• Remove impediments and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers that may impact delivery timelines or business outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives, Agile metrics, and team health assessments.
• Monitor and communicate team progress, delivery performance, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
• Promote transparency and data-driven decision making through Agile metrics, including velocity, predictability, cycle time, throughput, and PI objectives.
• Support capacity planning and dependency management across teams within the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance on Agile best practices, servant leadership, and collaborative ways of working.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree with 8 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Prior experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence and Jira Align.
• Experience in guiding teams through Agile events and ensuring adherence to SAFe practices and behaviors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges with data.
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully across virtual teams.

Nice to have

• Experience serving as a Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Experience supporting Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, Digital, or Work Management product teams.
• Experience facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) activities and cross-team coordination.
• Experience working with Adobe Workfront or comparable enterprise work management platforms.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Familiarity with organizational change management and Agile transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS products and digital business solutions.
• Knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, flow metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certified SAFe Scrum Master or similar.
• Certified SAFe RTE or similar.

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• Works effectively across multiple geographies (primarily India, Portugal, and the United States) under minimal supervision.
