Senior SDET Engineer (Cypress)

Overview

Senior SDET Engineer responsible for developing and enhancing financial technology solutions by translating requirements into software. Works across the SDLC with coding, testing, and code reviews, and contributes to scalability, performance, and UI/UX improvements.

What you'll do

• Use the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions that enhance applications.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and application code.
• Create and execute unit tests, and remediate known defects and errors.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce code standards to ensure quality and integrity.
• Optimize performance and scalability, resolving defects and bottlenecks.
• Lead UI/UX enhancements in collaboration with design and development teams.
• Provide peer coaching, mentoring, and on-call escalation guidance as needed.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of work experience in a related field across SDLC, full stack, frontend/backend, and UI/UX engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, ideally three, and development/maintenance of at least three applications.
• Ability to work autonomously with technical supervision to peers.
• Experience driving projects within team initiatives such as GitHub, Copilot, or AWS Migration.
