Senior Security Engineer I, Customer Trust EMEA (Remote Eligible in the UK)

Overview

Lead Customer Trust operations for EMEA customers by managing security questionnaires, vendor risk assessments, and customer-facing security responses. This role is remote from the UK and focuses on regional compliance and technical credibility.

What you'll do

• Triage, complete, and manage security questionnaire queues for EMEA customers.
• Respond to vendor risk assessments and requests for information.
• Partner with EMEA sales teams on customer security requirements.
• Address GDPR, EU data protection, and sector-specific compliance requirements.
• Manage multiple questionnaires and customer interactions using queue and project management practices.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in customer trust, vendor risk management, security assessment, or customer-facing security roles.
• Experience with security questionnaires, vendor assessments, and RFIs.
• Understanding of GDPR, EU data protection, data residency, DPAs, and DPIAs.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, access controls, encryption, incident response, and data handling.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Fluency in an additional European language.
• Professional security certification such as CISSP, CCSK, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with European SaaS customer trust or security operations.
• Familiarity with Targhee, OneTrust, SAFE, or similar tools.
