Overview
Lead product security engineering for AlphaSense's AI-native platform, embedding secure architecture, threat modeling, and security controls across software and AI development.
What you'll do
- Architect security controls for AI/ML systems, data pipelines, inference environments, and agentic workflows.
- Mitigate AI-specific risks including prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, and model theft.
- Embed security, privacy, and compliance throughout software and AI development lifecycles.
- Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and risk assessments.
- Build security automation and governance into development workflows.
- Produce customer-facing security questionnaires, whitepapers, and trust collateral.
- Mentor teams on secure coding, AI risk management, and secure design.
What you'll need
- 5–7+ years in product, application, or cloud security engineering.
- Deep understanding of secure SDLC, threat modeling, and secure architecture.
- Experience securing AI/ML pipelines, data workflows, and model-serving infrastructure.
- Cloud security expertise across multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
- Understanding of encryption, authentication, and authorization patterns.
- Ability to drive cross-functional security initiatives.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for security automation.
- Container and Kubernetes runtime security experience.
- Software supply chain security experience.
- Bug bounty program experience.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks.
- Certifications such as CKS, CISSP, CSSLP, or AI/ML security credentials.

- Remote role in the United Kingdom.
- Base compensation: £90,000–£122,000 GBP yearly.
