Senior Site Contracts Lead

Overview

Lead and oversee site contracting for clinical trials, ensuring timely execution, contract quality, compliance tracking, and effective team delivery across the trial lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Oversee the site contracting process for clinical trials to ensure timely and effective contract execution.
• Monitor, drive, and report site contract performance metrics across the full lifecycle (cycle times, aging time, quality, and compliance).
• Develop project contracting setup documents (e.g., Clinical Trial Agreement templates, Site Contract Plan, fallback language).
• Advise on investigator grant budgets/parameters in collaboration with a global Grant Strategy and Investigator fees team.
• Provide leadership to project-specific Site Contracts team members, including guidance and training.
• Develop and implement best practices for site contract management, including processes, procedures, and tools.
• Control and communicate site contracting budget, and identify/mitigate risks tied to timelines, costs, effectiveness, and quality.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in site contracting or a related field within the CRO industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, economics, business, social sciences), or equivalent training/industry experience.
• Strong diplomacy, leadership skills, and organizational ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills to create or interpret legal language and budgets.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contracts.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with contract tools such as eTMF and contract management systems.
