Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Assistant Vice President

Overview

Hands-on Senior Site Reliability Engineer role (AVP) focused on designing and implementing monitoring, alerting, and automation for the Charles River platform’s Observability.

What you'll do

• Implement Observability monitoring requirements in Dynatrace and other tools for proactive client issue monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and SaaS Ops teams on Observability implementations.
• Build and maintain SRE/Operational dashboards, SLOs, alerts, and synthetic monitors.
• Integrate Observability and monitoring alerts into incident management systems such as ServiceNow and OpsRamp.
• Contribute to deployment and configuration management automation for monitoring systems.
• Triage and respond to errors in monitoring systems and integrations.
• Actively monitor Observability issues and identify improvement areas with relevant teams.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of site reliability experience supporting high availability SaaS platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Experience implementing Dynatrace and APM across complex, high-load transaction architectures.
• Experience with full stack and cloud monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Ansible, CICD pipelines, Git, and automation technologies.
• Experience with Java or similar programming languages.
• Log analysis experience.

Nice to have

• Preferred background in financial trading systems.
