Senior Software Development Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, including technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, including hosting, identity management, and integration.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to design CI/CD pipelines and support Azure DevOps deployments.
• Work with product managers, architects, and UX designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Implement best practices for coding standards and secure application development.

What you'll need

• 6+ years work experience as an app developer.
• Strong working knowledge of C#/.NET and Angular.
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge and experience with cloud (Azure).
• Ability to construct efficient queries, write reports, and present findings.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or similar field.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge on Databricks and ETL/ELT.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and architecture patterns (Azure or AWS).
• Healthcare IT software development experience and understanding of data models and interoperability standards (HL7v2, CDA, EMR, FHIR).
• Web development experience (HTML/CSS/Angular or other browser-side frameworks).
• Site Reliability or DevOps experience (build, deploy, or telemetry).
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and how it applies to application security.
• Agile/Scrum software development practices.
• Business Intelligence or data warehousing experience.
