Overview
Senior Software Development Engineer serving as technical owner for platform integration, responsible for designing, maintaining, and deploying cloud-based applications and improving integration, quality, security, and operations.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot issues, evaluate changes, and make informed technical decisions for platform integration.
- Design, maintain, and deploy scalable, highly available cloud-based applications using C#/.NET and client-installed agents.
- Review code and processes to uphold software quality and security standards.
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, and customer support to incorporate user feedback.
- Use Scrum to work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-production issues to ensure system reliability and availability.
What you'll need
- Have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in software design and architecture focused on .NET development.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Have experience across 600+ integrations and be comfortable coding in multiple languages.
- Be proficient in C#, .NET Core development, with bonus for significant Azure Cloud experience.
- Have experience with Azure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation testing.
- Understand cloud security principles and best practices.
Nice to have
- Understand Privileged Access Management (PAM) and secret management solutions (Secret Server/Vault).
- Experience developing security-focused software.
- Experience interacting with customers in a support capacity.
- Experience with SQL and code optimization.
- Experience in FedRAMP environments.
