Software Engineer - Product Security

Overview

Software Engineer focused on Product Security, owning the full software development lifecycle for enterprise security controls delivered as software products.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products integrated into the SDLC and enterprise platforms.
• Own security control capabilities end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and production operational support.
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code to meet delivery and reliability expectations.
• Apply engineering practices such as test-driven development, paired programming, and continuous integration/deployment.
• Contribute to system and component designs with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security outcomes.
• Collaborate with product managers, platform teams, and partner engineering groups to align security capabilities with enterprise needs.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems across the full SDLC.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with scalable distributed systems and cloud-based applications, including microservices architectures.
• Ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs and backend services, including REST-based interfaces.
• Experience with modern development workflows including TDD, paired programming, and CI/CD.
• Experience working effectively within agile delivery models with product managers and engineering teams.
