Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role for Autodesk’s Pune engineering team, building and enhancing scalable backend and platform services used across Autodesk products.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and platform services.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of distributed systems.
• Build reliable APIs and service integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex system and production issues.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend or platform development.
• Experience designing and building scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Good understanding of distributed systems concepts, APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and deliver maintainable solutions.
