Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Deluxe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop, debug, and maintain software across the software development lifecycle, with technical guidance for the team.

What you'll do

• Develop high-quality software and execute tasks across the SDLC.
• Design and complete feature and defect tasks independently.
• Review, debug, and diagnose issues in test and production environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support software design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers and escalate issues constructively.

What you'll need

• 3 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong coding, design, and OOP skills.
• Experience integrating databases and operating systems.
• Basic foundation in development best practices.
• Worked in an SDLC methodology such as Scrum/Agile.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
