Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Gaming Game Framework SDK (GDK) team, responsible for delivering timely, high-quality software for casino game experiences and maintaining a reusable framework used by multiple studios.

What you'll do

• Deliver robust, scalable, reusable framework software for multiple game studios.
• Design, develop, test, and integrate moderate to high complexity software tasks.
• Own work across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering and testing guidance.
• Partner with other departments to identify and build reusable software components.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold software quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and/or C++.
• Proficiency with debugging and profiling tools.
• Strong code review skills.
• Solid understanding of software development processes.
• Ability to obtain and hold applicable Gaming Registrations/Licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Unity 3D or Godot Game Engine.
• Knowledge of Python and TypeScript.
• Game development experience.
• Strong grounding in design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Use of performance monitors for optimizations and TDD.
• Agile development practices.
