Overview
Senior Software Engineer in Group Security, responsible for building and operating scalable, reliable and secure software solutions supporting data protection, tokenisation and sensitive information handling.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test and maintain software solutions and reusable components.
- Build scalable and maintainable applications using modern engineering practices.
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement automated unit, integration, functional and system testing.
- Build monitoring, logging, observability and alerting for production services.
- Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security and product teams.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering experience designing, developing, testing and supporting applications or distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript or C#.
- Experience with software architecture, scalable systems and production environments.
- Advanced experience with DevOps, CI/CD and automated software delivery.
- Experience with automated testing, test frameworks and quality controls.
- Understanding of secure software development, security-by-design and technology risk management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.
Nice to have
- Exposure to data protection, tokenisation, cryptography or related security domains.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and modern software platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development and engineering automation.
