Overview

Senior Software Engineer at Fern (a Postman company) building APIs, scaling AI infrastructure, and designing developer experiences.

What you'll do

• Develop and scale AI systems deployed on Vercel, AWS, and Turbopuffer.
• Ensure AI systems are performant, reliable, and secure under real-world load.
• Debug production edge cases and shape APIs based on customer feedback.
• Partner with product designers and frontend engineers on TypeScript and Next.js interfaces.
• Collaborate to define polished interfaces and user experiences.

What you'll need

• Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication to solve technical problems with customers.
• Build open source and value developer experience as a craft.
• Bonus: Experience building with TypeScript.

Details

• In-office collaboration: 5 days a week for roles based in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York City, Tokyo, and London.
• Bangalore roles: 3 days per week, transitioning to 5 days per week by end of year.
