Overview
Senior full-stack engineer role in Product Engineering at Anthropic, owning end-to-end delivery for current or emergent products.
What you'll do
- Build developer tools and platform fundamentals such as console, SDKs, docs, and observability.
- Partner with product, design, research, and engineering leaders to turn new model capabilities into user experiences.
- Develop beneficial deployment tooling and access programs to make frontier AI usable for organizations with limited resources.
- Create industry-focused vertical AI products for domains such as Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Healthcare.
- Improve enterprise adoption by understanding why enterprise users aren’t activating and building solutions to close the gaps.
- Work on platform and systems foundations including identity, permissions, security, compliance controls, and admin analytics.
- Drive growth through data-driven strategies and technical implementations for acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
What you'll need
- Minimum 6 years of practical full-stack engineering experience.
- Have led design and delivery of complex consumer or B2B user-facing products across the full stack.
- Be technically proficient in modern frontend and backend development with demonstrated depth in React and TypeScript.
- Take a product-focused approach to building robust, scalable, easy-to-use solutions.
- Have experience in early-stage or fast-moving environments and ideally built products from 0 to 1.
- Have driven cross-team alignment to ship impactful work with influence over authority.
- Establish engineering standards, component architectures, and development best practices.

- Location preference given to candidates in NY, SEA, SF, or the Bay Area.
- Hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
