Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Splunk Enterprise Security, building scalable backend services and security capabilities across distributed, cloud-native environments.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable backend services and security capabilities using Golang.
• Build and optimize distributed systems for large-scale, high-volume deployment environments.
• Develop solutions using Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams to solve security problems.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on application/backend development.
• 3+ years of hands-on production software development with Golang.
• 2+ years developing or operating production applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments using Docker or Podman.
• 2+ years designing and implementing distributed, cloud-native systems using established software architecture and design principles.
• 2+ years developing CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks, including experience with GitLab or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
