Senior Software Engineer II (Golang / Python, Kafka & PostgreSQL)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer II responsible for developing high-quality software and supporting engineering teams across designs, code, and tests.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver designs, code, and tests on time.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple layers of the stack.
• Research, analyze, and document findings for engineering work.
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, alignment with standards, and OS compatibility.
• Participate in testing via test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification.
• Assist with improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on exposure to Golang and/or Python.
• Exposure to Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work independently on projects with general supervision.
• Practical knowledge of the applicable work area.
• Knowledge of software development tools such as version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.
