Senior Software Engineer (Java Developer)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer to design, optimize, and extend Java-based public web services and core distributed infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of critical systems for scalability and maintainability.
• Architect and integrate event-driven, resilient distributed systems for high-volume, low-latency workloads.
• Define and enforce system-wide design patterns, coding standards, and architectural principles.
• Design API contracts with backward compatibility, extensibility, and cross-service interoperability.
• Implement observability and telemetry strategies for system behavior and performance insight.
• Improve deployment reliability using cloud-based architectures and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Drive CI/CD modernization, secure-by-default patterns, and automated quality/security tooling.

What you'll need

• At least 6+ years of experience building production software.
• Expertise in Java development and debugging.
• Expert knowledge of multi-threading programming.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores.
• Good understanding of Hibernate and JPA-related technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and good spoken/written English.
