Senior Software Engineer - Java - Identity and Access Services

Overview

Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support FactSet’s Customer Identity and Access Management (IAM) services.

What you'll do

• Design and build mission-critical IAM services primarily in Java.
• Develop and support large-scale, global systems aligned to security compliance.
• Work with AWS and on-premises systems to deploy IAM services.
• Maintain IAM documentation and standards across current and future states.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure security vulnerabilities are addressed in PRs.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and respond to stakeholder queries.
• Join an on-call rotation to learn from production errors and incidents.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of programming experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with IAM authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Experience building services with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS or Azure.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
